Everyone who ever loved me is dead, I know how this feels. I also know how it feels to survive a near death expierience. All I can say is like the priest, someone wanted you to live for some reason. You may never figure out what this reason is and you can't search for it. Every moment you have now should not be taken for granted.

So i submit this question to you whoever so reads this why is it those who care only about themselves live longer than those who care about the world and people around them?

This is a vague question that you take to be correct when it is not necessarily true. I'm assuming your talking about your friend fighting to make the world a better place. Well why did you live longer? You didn't enlist. I know thats not the answer you were looking for but thats what I have for you. The world is how you percieve it. You can can choose to either believe the world is a snake and everyones out for themselves. Or you can choose to accept everything for what it is and not make irrationalized conceptions.
